Please read these terms and conditions before using booking website (website) and making any booking. When you make a purchase on the bebsite, you agree to accept these terms and conditions.
The terms and conditions of the agency will need to be agreed and will be provided on their contract. This will require approval through a signature.

1. General information
Accommodation for official delegates attending Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (“festival”), including Lions Health, Lions Innovation and Lions Entertainment, can be booked through b network, official partner of Cannes Lions. bnetwork SAS (“bnetwork”) is the festival’s booking agent and can only be contacted via the Website or by email: canneslions@bnetwork.com . The hotel owner or accommodation provider is responsible for delivering your accommodation to you not the festival. Any bookings made independently outside of the official Cannes Lions website and bnetwork booking service are not the responsibility of the festival or bnetwork. Bookings can only be made through https://www.canneslions.com. For help you can call us on: +33 (0)1 58 16 21 15.

2. Definitions
“Accommodation” includes apartments, villas or studios.
“festival” or “Cannes Lions” means Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity or the organisers Ascential Events (Europe) Limited whose registered office is c/o The Prow, 1 Wilder Walk, London WC2B 5AP.
“b network” means bnetwork SAS a company incorporated in France whose registered office is rue raphaël 1, 06400 Cannes, France.
“Booking” means the booking for accommodation made with bnetwork.
“Contract” means the booking and these terms, and any other terms and conditions stated to apply to the booking by the accommodation provider.
“Apartment” means the premises for which your booking is made.
“Terms” means these terms and conditions.
“Website” means www.canneslions.com
“TVA” means french value added tax.

3. Use of the apartments
Any flat rented via our platform must be used exclusively for accommodation. As events are subject to specific regulations, it is imperative to consult us beforehand for any use of this type.

bnetwork declines all responsibility in the event of non-compliance or infringement of municipal order 24/8571 of 19 November 2024, which may lead to the immediate evacuation of the accommodation.

4. Payment terms
The rate showed on bnetwork website covers the period of the festival, from Monday 17th (check-in) to Friday 21st (check-out). The minimum stay required may vary depending on the agency involved.

bnetwork accept the following credit cards: American Express, MasterCard , Visa. A 2% admistration fees card fee will apply to all payments made using a credit card.

Payment options available:
A 2% administrative fee will apply to all payments.

a) Credit card payment: reserved apartment(s) must be paid for in full at the time of booking, confirmation will be provided by email.

b) Bank transfer: reserved apartment(s) must be paid for in full within five working days of booking. Any booking made from 15 May 2024 onwards to the conclusion of the Festival, must be paid in full within two working days of booking.

• Your reservation will not be confirmed until the full amount in cleared funds for the reserved apartment(s) is received by bnetwork. If your payment is not received within the timeline stipulated above, your apartment(s) may be released back into the booking system for resale.
• There are no exceptions to the above terms and conditions.

5. Cancellation & penalties
Cancellations must be communicated to bnetwork in writing via email to: canneslions@bnetwork.com. Penalties may apply as stipulated below.

Policy may vary depending on the agency involved. Generally, 100% cancellation fees would apply.

6. Security deposit
The security deposit is compulsory to cover any damage to the property and/or its contents as well as payment for extras and all additional services requires during the stay and will be handled directly by the real estate agency handling the chosen apartment. The security deposit is requested by the agency and is compulsory when renting villas or luxury apartments. In the absence of any dispute, the agency will refund the security deposit within 30 days following the departure.

7. Minimum night stay policy
For apartment rentals, a minimum stay is applicable and may vary between 4 to 7 nights depending on the agency involved.

8. Invoicing process
• bnetwork is collecting the pre-payment for all the accommodation reservations.
• Payments will then be transferred in full to the accommodation providers (except the 2% admistration fees).
• bnetwork will provide a confirmation including a summary of the apartment(s) reserved for you and the total amount paid.
• You will receive an accommodation confirmation upon receipt of the full payment but you will not be provided with an official invoice from bnetwork. Your payment to bnetwork will appear as a deduction on the final invoice be issued by the agency upon check out. The balance due on the final invoice will have to be settled directly with your agency before departure (in case of direct extensions, meals, extras etc.).
• Please address any specific invoicing details or requests to b network directly and they will be communicated to the accommodation providers accordingly.

TVA may be applied to your invoices.

9. Complaints procedure
All complaints and claims which you make in relation to the accommodation are to be directed to (and are the responsibility of) the accommodation provider.

10. Force majeure
The festival or bnetwork accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, computers, cyber security attacks or any collapse of building structures.

11. Limitation of liability
The festival and/or bnetwork will not be responsible for the loss or damage whatsoever including any to any property left in the hotel or accommodation.

The festival will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or pure economic loss or any loss of profit, goodwill or opportunity (whether caused by the negligence of the festival, its employees, contractors or agents or otherwise). bnetwork’s total liability shall not exceed the value of the accommodation paid under the terms.

Nothing contained in these terms or in any other document referred to or incorporated in it shall be read or construed as excluding any liability for death or personal injury caused by the Festival’s negligence or liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction
The terms and any non-contractual obligations arising in connection with it are governed by english law.

The english courts have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising in connection with the terms, including disputes relating to any non-contractual obligations.

Each party irrevocably waives any objection which it may now or later have to proceedings being brought in the English courts (on the grounds that the english courts are not a convenient forum or otherwise).

13. Entire agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between the festival, bnetwork and delegates in relation to the booking system operated by bnetwork for booking accommodation to attend the festival.
